OUR TEAM

Brigit Joseph is from the suburbs outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. She is working towards a B.S in Neuroscience and Sociology with a minor in Chemistry and has future plans to attend medical school.  

 

Her sister’s diagnosis with PCDH19 greatly influenced Brigit’s passion for medicine and her desire to spread awareness about rare genetic disorders and epilepsy. Brigit wants to work towards raising money to fund research for a cure as well as educate the larger community on the personal experiences of families living with PCDH19 and its effects.
